about the father's business - Fishes Interviews
Candid interviews with web site builders & designers "A series of interviews with online shop owners, artists, musicians and business owners, all are celebrities in my book. Level of web design, W3C Validation or CSS and HTML expertise is not as important as their hopes, dreams, struggles and accomplishments. "

Welcome to the interviews.

Big fishes and little fishes

The purpose behind the interviews?

Choosing the 1st subject of these interviews wasn't easy. But I had to start somewhere, and the gentleman I chose just sort of stands out in the crowd of great folks. He also has a current project online that is time limited and I thought I would strike while the iron is HOT! Interview with JWJ of jwjonline.net

The 2nd interview, well Ken unknowingly "volunteered" after being the first to point out a typo. I fixed that and extended him an invitation. He is working on it. His questions are a bit different. Interview with Brisguy a.k.a. Ken

The third interview, Ms. Christina did a wonderful job. I'm so excited that everyone is so willing to share of themselves. Such honesty and humor makes a gal proud, why I don't know. Interview with Christina

The 4th interview, Ms. China Tea. Not every thing you might want to know about how to build a online store, but enough to know I don't want to build an online store! How she does it and does it well, I've no idea. Interview with China Tea

The 5th interview is Mr. Trackerm also known as Mark. Mark chose to be clever and produced a video interview. I was thrilled! A bit disappointed in that the lo-fi version kind of distorts his good looks.
Try as I might I cannot view nor download the original. Christina, kindly fixed that. Both of her versions are available. #5A Lo-Fi Video Interview with Trackerm #5B & Hi-Fi Video Interview with Trackerm

Interview number #6 is with Arlen, the creator of Folk Artist E.T Wickham's stone statue website. His site chronicles the creation and the preservation efforts of the park and E. T.'s statues. Arlen creator of the Wickham Stone Park Website

Fishes Interview #7 with web e-fishy-anado John Allen, poet, artist, photographer, web site designer and programmer.

Fishes Interview #8 with with Albert, of retinascope.co.uk , photographer, collector of old wireless, comedian and opinionated ole coot!

Fishes Interview #9 with Alan D Walker creator and master of caribbeanrental.com. Alan is the creator and master of the world wide web's premier Caribbean Vacation Rental Portal

Fishes Interview #10 with Sharron creator of design by atfb and the Fishes Interviews. The interviewer has become interviewee. John Johnston (JWJ), acting as interviewer, collected and collated all questions presented by the collective voices of past and future Fishes Interview subjects.

Fishes Interview #11 with Kelly creator and master of http://www.keepfitwithkelly.co.uk/ For Men and Women's aerobic dance classes in Dorset and Hampshire, England, Fishes Interviews

The purpose of this series of interviews as I envision it, is to gather and document in one spot (mine) the opinions, dreams and struggles of other website designers, artists and guru's. In process, I may find a few answers I've been looking for. Certainly, I expect to be entertained.

The only criteria I've set for this series is that the interviewee (is that a word?) must have built the site themselves. Whether for pleasure and or business. Their level of expertise is not a criteria. I don't care if they're a big fish or a little fish in the vast sea of webness.

There will be no profanity.
No Slamming of others
No Spamming
If invited to be interviewed and you want to respond, please send your responses to my questions in html format. I will email the questions, and indicate where you need to type your answers. As I don't know php etc. I have to do all this by hand and it would be VERY helpful to me to just copy and paste the stuff. I may or may not personalize the questions, I've not decided yet.
Please use layman terms in your responses, I'm a amateur.
